Marxism, Feminism and Housework

This feminist keeps talking about oppression. I don't think it means what she thinks it means. The way she puts it, if any woman anywhere faces any inconvenience in life, all women everywhere are oppressed. Apparently women in third world countries dying from pregnancy complications is a symptom of patriarchal oppression, and not an argument for better hygiene.

She says right off the bat that people have this idea that socialists believe that if only we can bring about a socialist revolution to destroy all society, it will magically bring about a Marxist utopia. She doesn't bother suggesting this idea is wrong, leaving the conclusion that she's on board with it just like all other Marxists. Communism has always failed where ever it has been tried, but they didn't do it right. These communists will finally get it right.
